And really, it hasn't been very long, compared to the gap in between the first two, but the last two to three weeks my hormones suck. I had THE worst migraine I've ever had at the end of last month. As usual, the moment I got my period it went away, but the peak of it was fucking horrible. I was in a state of about to puke for like 2 hours, and had chills, which I've never had with a migraine before. Usually after the migraine peaks, I am better enough to go about my day. Still in pain, but the nausea goes away, which for me is the worst part.
Yesterday, both of my ovaries were hurting. Right side was worse, but both hurt. This scares me. Do I have a complex cyst on both sides now? I know I get functional cysts o my left sometimes, because it sucks when they burst, but lately I feel like my left one has pains now too. For a couple months now. Sigh.
I haven't stuck with certain changes I made for a while to help. The changes seemed to be helping, because my migraines were minimal... well, for migraines, but not as bad as they usually were before. The fermented foods seem to be helping so I am going to try to eat something fermented everyday. If I can work two things in, even better. I was doing that for a bit the month I didn't get a migraine, pickles with lunch, kefir before bed.
I do think I know what caused the migraine to be so damn horrible, though. I had it thinking it was good for me, and I should have known better, because I think my body might hate soy. Bragg's Liquid Aminos. Soy. Unfermented soy. I made a stir fry, stuck in some liquid aminos, then read the label. I thought it was fermented soy, which would be okay. It wasn't. I had it for dinner that night, then lunch the next day, and migraine started within hours of lunch. So just to be safe I won't be using that again. I do have coconut aminos, so I should try those next time. I'll be takig some DIM too to try to rid myself of excess estrogens. I'm waiting until the ideal time of the month to do so.
So everything feels way better today. I had less caffeine yesterday, took some turmeric and ginger, ate some Bubbies relish, had some kefir, and did a walk to help with being annoyed by nothing lol... The pain gone today. I was so afraid my cyst was growing, that I have another complex one on left side now, though I am close to ovulation, and technically releasing an egg is a small cyst bursting so that can cause pain, and I'm hoping that's what the lesser pain on my left was. All of my monthly signs and signals are still there when and how they should be so far, so maybe once I take the DIM, things will be more level again. I'm going to keep taking the turmeric and ginger too. My body seems to love it.
